The purpose of the ISO Internal Auditor & IMS Systems Officer role is to champion continuous improvement and compliance within SWS and its client organisations by ensuring robust management systems are effectively implemented, maintained, and audited. This pivotal position supports clients in achieving and upholding internationally recognised ISO standards, fostering operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and workplace safety. Through diligent auditing, insightful reporting, and proactive support, the role contributes directly to the sustained success and reputation of both SWS and its valued clients.
The ISO Internal Auditor & IMS Systems Officer will be responsible for conducting client internal audits against ISO management systems, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. These audits may be carried out through physical site visits or remotely, utilising a hybrid approach. The role also involves preparing and issuing internal audit reports and action plans.
The successful candidate will advise SWS clients on any identified non-conformances and recommend corrective and preventative actions (CPAs). Additionally, the role includes implementing and/or maintaining integrated management system procedures, as well as supporting and facilitating clients during their UKAS-approved ISO certification audits, using both in-person and remote methods as appropriate.
Above all, candidates must be driven, conscientious, and eager to learn and develop. Even if current qualifications do not fully meet the specified criteria, SWS is open to employing individuals who demonstrate the right mindset, attitude, and are deemed a good fit for the business and its clients.
This position may be available on either a full-time or part-time basis. It may also be suited to graduate candidates who are seeking a 6- or 12-month placement with the potential for ongoing employment. SWS is committed to offering flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid model, for suitable candidates. In essence, SWS is open to considering any form of employment if the candidate proves to be a good fit for the business. Various negotiable packages are available to accommodate individual needs.
